Character Creation

Like everything in MiniMyths, character creation is intended to be easy for anyone. Whether you are new to TTRPGs, or a seasoned expert, you can get started quickly. Yet, there are plenty of options to make the experience uniquely yours!

Getting Started

To get started with a new character in MiniMyths, you need only determine: Lineage, Class, Armor, Weapons, and Abilities

You can add goals, motivations, and backstory to give your character more depth, but you won't need more than these 5 things to start playing

Lineage

Human

The most populous and widespread of peoples, Humans are known for their resourcefulness and adaptability. 

Add +1 to either Body, Stamina, or Mind

Elf

Elves are among the oldest lineages in the world, and maintain a wealth of inherited knowledge.

Add +1 to Mind

Dwarf

Stout, hearty, and deeply connected to the world, dwarves are never limited by their diminutive stature.

Add +1 to Body

Goblin

Cunning and agile, Goblins are a small green-skinned people with mysterious origins.

Add +1 to Stamina

Orc

The most physically imposing of all lineages, orcs are almost without exception tall, muscular, and green.

Your character's lineage is about more than their looks. Each lineage comes with a specific boost to their stats. This may help determine which class you want to play, or it may just add some flavor to story.

Class

Archer

Masters of the Longbow, Archers excel at striking from a distance, avoiding attacks through agility and battlefield control.

Only 1 armor can be in your inventory at a time. To pick up new armor, you must discard your existing armor.

Leather Armor

+1 AC

Assassin

Assassins attack from the shadows, striking quickly and avoiding retaliation. Preferring agile, deadly weapons, few survive who underestimate them.

Only 1 armor can be in your inventory at a time. To pick up new armor, you must discard your existing armor.

Leather Armor

+1 AC

Healer

Most towns and villages have a Healer, though those willing to venture into danger are exceedingly rare. The battlefield aid can quickly turn the tide of a fight.

Only 1 armor can be in your inventory at a time. To pick up new armor, you must discard your existing armor.

Knight

Often the front line of any battle, Knights are trained and highly skilled combatants. Their training allows them the exclusive use of certain weapons and armor.

Only 1 armor can be in your inventory at a time. To pick up new armor, you must discard your existing armor.

Plate Armor

Mage

Whether by natural affinity or years of dedicated study, mages have gained the ability to manipulate the forces of magic in battle. 

Only 1 armor can be in your inventory at a time. To pick up new armor, you must discard your existing armor.

Cloth Armor

Warrior

Warriors are experts at close-quarters fighting. Able to inflict significant damage in a fight, they can take a hit just as well as they can deal it out. 

Only 1 armor can be in your inventory at a time. To pick up new armor, you must discard your existing armor.
